Pakistan Aircraft Carrier Program The purpose of this project is to strengthen the capability of Pakistan navy. The strategic management of Pakistan navy has assessed the strength while observing the increasing strength of our foe. To fight an effective warfare the co-ordination of naval aviation with surface and sub surface forces possess prime importance. It is prime responsibility of naval force to protect the sea lines of communication during war scenario. While considering all defensive and offensive capabilities in different situations the decision has been taken by ministry of defense to induct the aircraft carrier in Pakistan navy. The order have been passed to start the construction of carrier and construction should be as early as possible while using own available resources. The aircraft career should able to carry 15 JF-17 thunders, 12 Z-9EC and 7 seeking at a time. The carrier must have anti missile system, torpedo counter measures, anti gun system, communication equipment with surface sub surface and aviation forces. 1.1 Collect requirements Requirement documentation While considering project charter and stockholder register we use different sort of techniques such as prototypes, observation, interviews, decision making techniques etc we have documented different types of requirements which areà as follows: functional requirements The functional requirements of our project are as follows Lab tested material should use throughout the construction Fire fighting system for all kinds of fire: Length 320 m Beam 80 m Draught 25 m 10 no of engines All machinery from German olam company Carrier should carry 15 missile with range of missile 300 miles 17 anti missile with range of missile 100 miles 14 torpedo and 20 counter measure with range of missile 60 miles 1500 tons fuel capacity 4 navigational radars with range from 10 to 150 miles 4 fire control radars range from 10 to 300 miles 3 sonar range of 200 miles Surface, sub surface and above surface communication equipments NON FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS The non functional requirements are as follows 5 engine should be 7000 hp Other 5 engines should be 5000 hp Fire fighting system on ammunition locker and machinery compartments should be automatic Fire fighting system on living space and galley should be manual Fire control radar should be capable to track the stealth objects Navigational radar should operate on 7 different modes ESM should operate in 8 different modes All missile should be active 7 torpedo should be homing 8 torpedo should be guided 1.2 REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT PLAN Our purpose is to construct a well equipped and operational aircraft carrier for defensive and offensive actions, to achieve expected performance the basic requirements which we consider are as follows: Good quality material Good auxiliaries Effective weapons Effective sensors Effective radars Aviation facilities Effective fire fighting equipments Effective countermeasures To ensure a good material for construction we should consult with a construction company whose credibility is up to our standards and which have the modern equipment for testing materials. To ensure good supply of electricity we must concern suitable electrical company which must have done this kind of job before and are familiar with their performance. As for auxiliaries concerns we will contact to German Olympus Company because it is reliable company and has been examined many of time before. To ensure the effectiveness of weapons on board ship we will test their capability from any other platform, after completing the testing of all weapon we will let the company for weapon fittings, also after fitting we will once again test the weapons. We will follow same procedure for sensors and radars as well, first checking from others platforms after satisfaction from the capabilities and effectiveness we will allow their fitting. Since the primary purpose of aircraft carrier is to provide air assistance to the surface force, so we must be vigilant about aviation facilities, which include securing facility, fuel facility, platform for maintainers etc. Fire is considered to be the dangerous agent especially on board ships , we will provide effective firefighting equipment for every compartment. And also we ensure the first aid and minor operation facilities in case of emergency. Do We Really Love Our Animals? :: essays research papers fc
Do you consider yourself a pet lover? Do you love animals in general? Can you imagine yourself as a little boy in a trailer far away from the depths of socialization? Once upon a time there was this boy, and this boy had a friend. No matter how hard times got he had Bo. The boy was incredibly happy because he had always dreamed of having a dog like that, a companion. Then your friend dies and you are left standing. Can you imagine the pain?Nobody likes to lose a good friend or a pet, and the majority of the population loves animals. However, evidence points that people donââ¬â¢t like animals as much as they claim to because the majority of the population tends to over look the genocide that exists this very instance. Gandhi once wrote, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the ways its animals are treated"(Why Vegan? 1) Gandhi brings up a good point because the issue of Animal Rights is in fact an issue of oneââ¬â¢s moral code. To define the morality and ethics, this paper will refer to Ayn Randââ¬â¢s definition taken from the book, The Virtue of Selfishness. Rand describes itthis way, "It is a code of values to guide a manââ¬â¢s choices and actions that determine the purpose of his life" (Rand 13). Can the common animal lover really love animals that much and is it in their moral code to protect the living? Maybe they would if they were presented with the facts about vivisection and the meat industry. The truth of the matter is, people donââ¬â¢t love animals as much as they claim to, because they allow mistreatment, support companies that practice Vivisection, and the majority of the population still eats meat. The first form of oppression comes from probably one of the most grotesquely cruel practices of all. Did you know that from buying your toothpaste to buying your cosmetics, you open yourself up for the opportunity to participate in the funding of Vivisection? PETA, an international non profit organization designed to protect the rights of animals has defined the term as, "Vivisection is the practice of experimenting on live animals" (PETA 1). Letââ¬â¢s start with the large amount of animals Vivisection effects. The American Anti-Vivisection Society reports that, "Between 25 and 50 million animals are killed in American Laboratories each Year"(www.

Alcoholic Anonymous Reaction Paper Essay
Recently, I attended an A. A. meeting, which stands for, alcoholic anonymous. The meeting I went to was located in Penfield, NY at 1601 Jackson Road, area code 14526. It was called the Yellow House. When I walked in, everyone was very welcoming and nice. Many people stared at me intensely as I entered the Yellow House. I think they thought I was a recovering alcoholic, until I explained to them later that I was there to listen and observe for a school project for my drugs and behavior class. The place was very cozy inside, had a number of chairs lined up for everyone to sit down and coffee ready to drink. I sat down in one of the chairs. A lady came up to me and handed me a coin that said ââ¬Å"24 hours recoveryâ⬠; this was before I had the chance to tell her that I was there to observe for a school project. I guess when you go to an alcoholic anonymous meeting for the first time you get awarded a 24 hour recovery coin to make you feel good and know youââ¬â¢re doing something good to help you recover from your alcoholic addiction. The meeting started promptly at 5:30 P. M. like it said it would. The leaders read out announcements and let everybody know if someone new has showed up. If youââ¬â¢re new joining alcoholics anonymous, you introduce yourself by saying your name and stating you are an alcoholic, and then everyone else in the room say ââ¬Å"hiâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ whatever your name is to make you feel welcome. Then the person can either talk more about why they came or stop talking and then another person will randomly say their name and why they are attending and so on. There was a vast majority of adults and older people in their 50s or 60s. There were a couple grandfathers, grandmothers and one or two kids my age. I sat next to a kid who was around the same age as me and I felt shocked that he would be attending this type of meeting at such a young age. As the stories from the crowd of people kept going on, I recognized everyone clapping very deliberately and diligent at everyoneââ¬â¢s accomplishments for the most little to no importance scenarios, for instance, a man got up and said he had been sober for 90 days and everyone clapped for a really long time. I also realized everyone laughed at everything that was the least bit funny to make it feel like a warm, comfortable, atmosphere. There are meetings every night at this place in Penfield at 5:30 P. M. Each meeting has a different name every night. The meeting I went to was called a ââ¬Å"First Stepâ⬠meeting. It was for people attending the yellow house or an alcoholic anonymous meeting somewhere for the first time and admitting they are an alcoholic and that they want to get sober. When you start the program, you commit yourself to following a ââ¬Å"12 step programâ⬠and attending 90 days of alcoholics anonymous. The first step states ââ¬Å"We admitted we were powerless over alcohol-that our lives had become unmanageable. â⬠And when you finish the program, you end with the last step, step number twelve, which states: ââ¬Å"Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs. â⬠Attending the alcoholics anonymous groups around the world has changed many recovering alcoholics lives and brought stability to their mind body and soul.

Synopsis Tricia Monet A Young Professional With A...
Synopsis: Tricia Monet is a young professional with a bachelorââ¬â¢s degree in accounting. After college, Tricia worked in an accounting firm, but she determined that she enjoyed interacting with people more than numbers. When she moved to Sioux City, Tricia applied and interviewed for an assistant director position at Personal Reflections in the local mall. Despite having no supervisory or managerial experience, Personal Reflections quickly offered the job to Tricia, and she accepted the offer a few days later. During the two-week training, Tricia initially thought the people were helpful, and she learned a lot from the class. After the initial training, the company provided little support and guidance for their store directors. Tricia began working at the Sioux City store where she discovered the store director, Heather Munson, resented that she was not included in the hiring decisions. This store consistently failed to meet its sales goals, and the store was messy and disorganized. When Tricia tried to organize the store, Heather yelled at her for doing tasks that she did not assign. Tricia was unhappy with the situation, but Heather suddenly went on disability leave before she quit. Tricia became the acting director with a month of experience. She welcomed the challenge and set out to improve the store, while the district manager hired Amy, Lori, and Tammy as the assistant directors. Over the first month, Tricia and the assistant managers got along, and they were
